Something luminous, far away from Gordon's reach — in a vast, and desolate world, shaped by a mind not entirely of his own. He follows from the only path accessible: A lonely dock, around ice and a vast ocean beneath those big ice blocks. Only god knows what possibilities beneath in such terrain.
While walking around, something shifts in the distance. Between the big ice structures, a new presence catches the eye — a light.
It pulses, strong and irregular, as if calling for him. Maybe this is what he came for.
As Gordon passes through the remains of the unsuccessful that tried to reach to it, but, something singular is around the light… some sort of mix, between unease and comfort, on their purest forms, a door surges from such brighter source, but, someone that Gordon is truly unaware about what is awaiting for him, or at least, not for now…
"It is indeed a rather promising mission, isn't it? Even for someone like you. Actions don't always justify the probability of the events, Mister Freeman. So… Why not see how far you can come?"
— The G-ManGordon only could let the words echo around his mind, they may mean nothing, may mean everything.
As the light becomes more inviting — more promising. Gordon feels the touch of the many, of the small, and of the nothingness surrounding him, as if the universe itself were brushing against the edge of his perception.
Only time will tell the truth hidden beneath the distant, restless ocean at his feet.
Or perhaps there will be no time at all — or all the time in existence — for that truth to be revealed.
